ok, i revamped the idea and changed it alot. Here the first part of the story.

Shadows of the Light: Beginnings

Miss Takuya's homeroom class.

Miss Takuya: Ok class we have a new student joining us today. This is Rei Armagetzon and he transferred here from Mojimori High.

[a boy walks into the room. He is about 5'6" tall and slim with brown eyes and white hair down to his shoulders]

Miss Takuya: Rei, why don't you take the seat next to Osaku.

[Rei goes to the indicated seat and Miss Takuya begins teaching class]

Osaku: So, your the new kid eh? I'm Osaku and i'm incharge around here, so if you no what's good for you, you'll do what i say.

Rei: Leave me alone, i've got enough problems without having to deal with you.

Osaku: Your gonna regret that, i'll see ya lata.

Rei: Whatever.

[the day goes on. Rei is now in the hall walking to his last class]

Rei: Oh shit. I'm gonna be late to class.

[suddenly two guys step in front of Rei and block his path. then he hears a voice from behind him]

Osaku: Rei, looks like it's time i made you regret the disrespect you showed me earlier.

Rei: come on, I'm in a hurry, can't you just leave me alone.

Osaku: you hear that guys, he's too busy for us. Just sounds like more disrespect.

[Osaku and his gang beat the crap out of Rei. He wakes up battered and bruised outside the school on the grass with a girl looking down on him]

Girl: So your finally awake.

Rei: What happened? Where am I?

Girl: You got the livin hell beat out of you. Your on the school's lawn. I found you here and figured i'd see if you were still alive.

Rei: Thanx, i'm new here. My name's Rei.

[A car full of girls drives up and the driver yells for the girl to get in]

Girl: I have to go. You should be careful who you piss off at this school.

[The girl gets in the car and it starts to pull away.]

Rei: Hey wait! What's your name?

Girl: Naomi!

[The car drives off. Rei gets up and brushes the dirt off his clothes]

Rei:(to himself) Well thinks started off rough but they seem to be getting better.

[Rei walks home]

The next day at lunch

[Rei is looking around for somewhere to sit and eat lunch]

Naomi: Hey new kid! Over here!

[Rei walks over and sits across from Naomi]

Naomi: So kid, how you feelin after that beatin you got?

Rei: A little sore, but not too bad.

Naomi: Hey my friends are busy after school and i live in a bad neighborhood so could you walk home with me?

Rei: Sure, I don't have any plans so why not.

Naomi: thanks, I'l meet you in the parking lot after school.

[she gets up and starts to leave]

Rei: ok, till then.

[The rest of the day passes by. Rei doesn't see hide nor hair of Osaku and figures he must not be in school. After school Rei heads out to the parkin lot.]

Naomi: Hey Rei, you took long enough.

Rei: sorry, my last teacher kept me after class for a second.

Naomi: Ok, lets get goin.

[suddenly a speeding car pulls out from behind the school and heads towards Naomi. Osaku is driving it.]

Osaku: Dump me will you, you Bitch. Now i'm gonna get some revenge for the disrespect you showed me.

Rei: watchout!!

[before he knows what he is doing, Rei pushed Naomi out of the way and gets hit by the car, it's starts to turn around.]

Naomi: Rei!!!

that's a good way to leave the story w/ suspense, wouldn't you say. i fixed the heights. tell me what you think. I always appreciate criticism.
