Chpt 3: Old Himo
Finally, after much procrastination on my part. i finished chapter 3. as usual offer any praise/criticism u can... w/ most of my friends i expect the first, from my sis i expect a lot of the second...

Chapter 3: Old Himo

[Rei and Naomi are downtown walking around an open market place. Vendors of all sorts are abound.]
Rei: Are you sure this is where we can find this Himoura guy?
Naomi: No, but like i said, i've heard rumors about a guy called old Himo and it's the only lead we've got.
Rei: well let's hope you're right.
[They spot a very strong looking man of about 30 years old, he seems to be some type of great fighter.]
Rei: Hey he looks like a great fighter, maybe he's the guy we're lookin for.
Naomi: Excuse me sir, is your name Himoura?
Guy: Yes, i know why you are here. Come with me.

[They follow Himoura into a nearby building and down to the basement. Himoura quickly locks the basement door behind them.]
Rei: Why did you lock the door? We weren't being followed were we?
Himoura: I didn't lock the door to keep people out. I locked it to keep you two in.
Naomi: Why did you wanna keep us here, Himoura?
Guy: I don't know who this Himoura is that you kids are lookin for, but now that i've tricked you into coming down here i can have my way with you.
Naomi: What?! HELP!!
Himoura: Don't bother. No one can hear you down here. Now are you gonna cooperate or do i have to be rough. either way ill have a good time.
[Naomi's face shows an expression of true fear.]
Rei: Don't lay a hand on her.
Guy: Hahaha! You think you can boss me around. You're lucky i don't like boys. I guess ill just have to kill you before i can have some fun with this lovely lady.
[The guy goes to punch Rei. Rei dodges the blow with a slight move to the left and brings his forearm around to send the guy flying across the room into the wall.]
Guy: You Bastard!!! I'll have to use something special for you.
[The guy pulls out a pistol and shoots a dart into Rei's neck. The toxins immediately start to take affect and Rei falls to the floor paralyzed.]
Guy: I was just gonna kill you, but now you get to watch while me and your girlfriend have wild sex.
[The guy grabs Naomi and starts pulling off her shirt. Naomi screams. A violent wind rips throught the room suddenly as Rei slowly gets to his feet. His body has a limp stance to it and the wind seems to be swirling around him.]
Rei: I told you to leave her alone!
Guy: What the hell are you?! Some kind of monster!?
[Rei is suddenly behind the guy and pulls his arm behind his back then using his leg for leverage against the guy's back he dislocates his shoulder.]
Guy: Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!
Rei: The only monster around here is you. That's for paralyzing me and trying to hurt Naomi.
[Rei grabs the guy by the head and slams him against the nearest wall. Then he holds the guy with his hand over his face just off the ground.]
Rei:(in a freakishly calm voice) if you ever try to do something like this again, i will break you in half with my bare hands.
[Rei drops the guy who quickly unlocks the door and runs out of the building screaming. Suddenly Rei drops to the ground as the toxins' effects take hold once more.]
Naomi: Are you okay? Come on lets get out of here.

[Naomi helps Rei get back out to the street. An old man selling herbs across the street sees them.]
Old man: Are you two ok? Do you need some help.
Naomi: My friend's been poisoned. He needs an antidote!
Old man: Quick. Bring him back here.
[Naomi and the old man bring Rei into the back of the shop and lay him down on a cot.]
Old man: Here, give him this and he'll recover from the paralysis in a couple hours.
Naomi: Okay [gives medicine to Rei] I'm not sure if we have enough money to pay for this.
Old man: Don't worry about it.
Naomi: Thankyou for all your help...um..i didn't catch your name.
Old man: Call me Old Himo, everyone else does.
Naomi: Wait a minute! Old Himo!? We've been trying to find you.
Old Himo: And what exactly would a couple of highschool students want with an elderly Apothecarist? I don't sell Opium if that's what your looking for.
Rei:[gets up slowly] I was told you could help me.
Naomi: Rei! You're Okay!
Old Himo: (Thinking: amazing he healed fromt he poison in mere minutes.) And what exactly do you need my help with?
Rei: Something...happened to me. I'm not really sure what but i was given abilities that are supernatural. I was told that you could help me learn to control my abilities.
Old Himo: Hmmm. I don't know. You'd hae to do exactly what I said and never question my methods.
Rei: I'll do whatever it takes to be able to control my powers. I need to make sure i don't accidentally hurt someone.
Old Himo: Fine, your training starts tomorrow right after school. Meet me here. For now just go home and get some rest, you'll need it.
Rei: Yes sensei. Let's go Naomi
Naomi:(rather confused with the exchange that just happened) O..Kay.
[Naomi and Rei leave.]
Old Himo: "sensei" hahaha. That's a new one. I hope he's ready for the hard training he's gonna have to go through. hmmmm. i wonder if i can turn a profit from all this.
